SNAP 8 is a recast of a Bay Area Night Game, and this time we really do mean Night.

Where and when?

SNAP 8 will be held starting at 8pm on Saturday, September 24, 2011. The event will take place at Microsoft's main Redmond campus.

In the event of rain, the event may be postponed; we'll refund the registration fee to teams that can't make the new date.

How long will it run?

The game will run until 2am. You're welcome to leave whenever you are finished; due to the lateness of the hour we will forgo the traditional end game gathering. Results will be posted online.

What should I bring?
  • Flashlights
  • Paper, pens/pencils
  • Clipboards
  • Some access to the internet (eg, smartphone). This will not be critical but may come in handy for looking up some pieces of trivia.

Nothing in the way of food or drink will be available at or near the site during the event. Consider packing snacks and drinks.

How many players on a team?

3 to 5

How do I sign up?

We're full already, but you can add your team to the waitlist by filling out this form. You can see the list of currently registered teams here.

Teams on the waitlist will be given the opportunity to participate in our playtest at no cost. Our playtest will run on the evening of Saturday, September 17th.

Can't make the date? Contact us if your team is interested in playtesting.

How much does it cost?

$40 per team, via PayPal before the event. Verify that your team is registered and then click here to pay:
